WHAT TO EXPECT

During the off-season, the majority of updates and important information will be shared via email and on our social media platforms.



For registered athletes, our primary form of communication during the season will be TeamSnap. TeamSnap provides real-time communication through chat, group messaging, email, and alerts via mobile and web apps, allowing coaches, players, and parents to stay connected without needing to share personal contact information.

WHAT IS TEAMSNAP?

TeamSnap is the #1 rated mobile and web-based platform for organizing, managing, and communicating in youth sports. Used by over 30 million parents, coaches, and league administrators, it streamlines scheduling, player registration, payments, and in-app communication. It serves over 19,000 sports organizations and supports over 200 activity types. 

EQUIPMENT

Jerseys, flag belts, and mouth guards must be worn each week. Players must have a mouth guard to participate.


Shorts or sweatpants without pockets should be worn for practices and games. If a participant wears shorts or pants with pockets, the pockets must be taped down to prevent hands or fingers from getting caught while pulling flags.


Participants may wear plastic molded cleats, athletic shoes, or sneakers.

WEATHER POLICY

NFL FLAG Weather Policy

  • Games and practices will continue as long as there is no lightning or thunder.

In the event of inclement weather:

  • Lightning/Thunder: If lightning is seen or thunder is heard within 10 miles, all activities will stop immediately. Players, coaches, and spectators must seek shelter until it is safe to resume.
  • Temperature: Games may be canceled if conditions are too hot or too cold for safe outdoor play.
  • Delays: Games may be delayed up to 30 minutes. Delays longer than 30 minutes may result in adjusted start times for remaining games.
  • Cancellations: Games may be canceled due to lightning, heavy rain, extreme heat, or cold weather.
  • Rescheduling: The league is not obligated to reschedule canceled games, and refunds are not provided for weather-related cancellations.
